IDERS began operations in 1992 as an EPDS (Electronic Product Design Service) company. Initially, our focus was on working with sub-contract EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) vendors for production of IDERS-designed products and systems.

Several factors led to IDERS moving away from subcontract services and establishing a full-fledged EMS facility in house:

• client demand for IDERS to deliver a 100% service solution,
from prototyping into production

• consistently high quality on all assemblies, regardless of
price or quantity

• requirement for rapid-turn of high-complexity electronic assemblies

• shrinking domestic availability of EMS subcontract services

• lack of EMS services for low to medium volumes
