Junior Embedded Software Developer

IDERS develops and manufactures electronic/software and mechanical systems for railway, aerospace, financial transaction applications and more for our global clients. We are looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Junior Embedded Software Developer with our team. Responsibilities: This position will have a wide range of responsibilities in the IDERS software group, including but not limited to: Participate in technology based projects Design drivers, applications and analysis tools individually or as part of a team Follow internal development, programming and documentation standards Develop, document and execute test plans to evaluate design options and products, using a combination of numerical and physical test methods Requirements: Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent experience Knowledge of and experience with various programming languages: C, C++, assembly General electronic circuit knowledge and experience Linux knowledge and experience Embedded software development experience, both custom OS and Linux Quick learner and independent worker who is adaptable, eager, flexible and organized Strong problem solving skills Passion for working with and learning about technology Personally committed to team success Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines The ideal candidate is a detail oriented person able to work with customers and engineering staff to bring products to market.
